Cape Town - Signed by Real Madrid to deliver the "Decima", Gareth Bale has set his sights on making history with the Los Blancos this season.

Bale played a key role in his first season at Madrid including scoring a goal in the final as he helped Real Madrid win their 10th Champions League title.

Gareth Bale has now set his sights on winning the Real's "Undecima", their eleventh Champions League title, according to the Daily Mail.

"There is a reason why no-one has done it," said the winger.

"It’s difficult to win it once never mind twice in a row but we feel confident, we feel good." said Bale.

Bale completed a sensational £86 million move from Tottenham Hotspur to Madrid last season but admits he is happy to be out of the transfer spotlight this year.

"It’s nice now to sit back and just watch the transfers. When you are settled somewhere you can enjoy it but it was the complete opposite 12 months ago, I was still at home waiting to come here," said the Welshman.

"When you are in limbo between two clubs it’s not the greatest feeling in the world but if you want to move you have to go through that sometimes.

"I made the right decision last year.

"To win two trophies last season and then the European Super Cup in Cardiff shows that."

The Champions League draw takes place on Thursday, August 28.
