Cape Town - Cristiano Ronaldo's agent is adamant the striker will never rejoin Manchester United, stating that he is with Real Madrid "to the death".
Remarks from the Los Blancos superstar about the club's dealings during the July-August transfer window suggested he was not happy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Rumours about a potential return to Old Trafford quickly surfaced, although Ronaldo insisted that his comments were taken out of context and that he remained committed to the European champions.
Hopeful United fans even hired a plane displaying a "come home Ronaldo" banner over El Madrigal during Real's 2-0 win over Villarreal last month, with Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal admitting he would love to bring the Portugal captain back to his former stomping ground.
However, Ronaldo's representative, Jorge Mendes, insists his client wants to retire with the capital club and is determined to set a whole host of new records at Madrid.
Mendes told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope: "[Ronaldo] is loved by United because his heart was there for six years.
"But now he is just thinking about Real Madrid and he will stay here forever. He could not be happier. He respects the people who remember him, but he is with Madrid to the death.
"I do not receive offers because people know it is impossible to take Cristiano out of Real Madrid, so it is not worth calling to ask about him."
The 29-year-old bagged his 22nd hat-trick in La Liga as Carlo Ancelotti's side thrashed Athletic Club 5-0 on Sunday, taking him level with Real legends Alfredo Di Stefano and Telmo Zarra.
His tally for the Spanish giants now stands at 269 goals in 257 games, as he closes in on Di Stefano (307) and Raul's club record haul of 323.
Mendes hinted that Ronaldo could stay in the Spanish capital for another decade, adding: "You are never going to find another like him. He is getting better every day, and will be maybe better until he is 40.
"Cristiano is very happy at Real Madrid and has always been very happy. He will beat all the records there are to beat at the Blancos club and he will retire here."
