AC Milan want Zlatan back

Cape Town - AC Milan have made a public plea for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to re-join the club.

AC Milan Silvio Berlusconi has called on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to quit PSG for AC Milan this summer, according to Gazetta World.

Berlusconi says that the club are waiting "with open arms' should Ibrahimovic decide to end his stay in the Ligue 1.

Galatarasay have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign the 33-year-old star with Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United also credited with an interest in the Swedish legend.

Berlusconi revealed that AC Milan are front runners to sign Ibrahimovic - should he be allowed to quit the club despite having a year left on his contract.

“If PSG do let Zlatan leave, we have their word that it would only be to us.”

Ibrahimovic joined PSG from AC Milan in 2012 and has scored 75 in 92 league matches for the Paris giants.
