Iceland own goal saves Hungary's blushes

Marseille - Iceland's Birkir Savarsson directed the ball into his own net to let Hungary steal a 1-1 draw in their Euro 2016 Group F game on Saturday.

Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the penalty spot in the 40th minute to put Iceland ahead. And the Nordic islanders, who brilliantly held Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal 1-1 in their opening match, seemed to be heading for a famous win until Savarsson's heartbreaking interception of a cross.

Hungary, who beat Austria in their opening match, play Portugal in their last group game on Wednesday.
