Zambrotta tips Conte for success

Cape Town - Former Italy and Juventus defender Gianluca Zambrotta says Antonio Conte will thrive alongside the world's best managers in the English Premier League.

Conte takes over a Chelsea side that went from Premier League Champions to finishing in a disappointing tenth place last season, and faces an uphill task taking on the might of the two Manchester sides' elite coaches - Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.

However, Zambrotta feels his former team-mate won't have a problem meeting the expectations of Blues owner Roman Abramovic and the Stamford Bridge faithful.

"I think the three of them have similar personalities and are more or less at the same level," he told SkySports.

"Antonio Conte has a great football mind and he's very dedicated.

"He's very professional and is an excellent motivator."
