Cape Town - Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a summer swoop for AC Milan striker Andre Silva after rumours surfaced that he might be looking for a new challenge.
Silva is currently on loan with Sevilla but the La Liga club will not be pursuing a permanent deal in the summer and that could open the door for Wolves to swoop.
The former Porto ace started the season well with Sevilla, but has scored just one goal since the turn of the year and has fallen out with coach Joaquin Caparros.
The 23-year-old has also had injury issues, but this does not appear to have deterred Wolves, who are said to be willing to pay in the region of £30 million to do a deal.
AC Milan would be happy with such a move as he does not figure in their plans moving forward, but there is interest from elsewhere and Wolves would face competition.
Premier League rivals Leicester City are also said to be in the hunt and could match the offer being made by Wolves.
