Cape Town - Midfielder
Harry Winks has committed himself to Tottenham Hotspur for another five
years after signing a new deal with the club on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old, who has excelled, mostly as a substitute, this season, has penned a contract with Spurs until 2022.
He joins a long list of players to have reconfirmed their desire to remain at the north London club, that includes the majority of the Spurs first-team.
Mauricio Pochettino has used the talented midfielder sparingly this season as he manages his development, but such has been his impact, that he has already made 25 appearances in all competitions this term.
He scored his first Premier League goal in his first start in the 3-2 win against West Ham in November.
A brief statement from the Premier League club read: "We are delighted to announce that Harry Winks has signed a new contract with the Club until 2022."
Winks, who made his way up from the club's junior teams, joined the senior set-up in July 2012.
