Willian wants to retire at Chelsea

Cape Town - Chelsea winger Willian claims he has no interest in leaving the club and would like to see out his career at the English Premier League side.

Willian was reportedly a target for Paris Saint-Germain in the off-season as the French side looked for a new right winger, with Edison Cavani taking the lead striker role following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move to Manchester United.

While many expected the Brazilian to leave after Chelsea's dismal season and failure to qualify for the Champions League, the Brazilian remained at Stamford Bridge and has now pledged his commitment to the Blues.

"I read some things in the press on this topic but personally, I never received a concrete offer from PSG," the Brazil international told France Football.

"My family feels good in London and I love the Premier League, which is the best in the world.

"I am growing in a team that plays beautiful football, something which is important in my eyes. For all of these reasons, I intend to see out my contract and perhaps even extend it a little further if the club offers me the chance.

"It would be a privilege to finish my career at a club as big as Chelsea."
