Cape Town - Everton defender Ashley Williams feels the upturn in league form at Goodison Park is down to the performances of goalkeeper Joel Robles.
Having been an understudy for most of his professional career, the 26-year-old Spaniard has now established himself as a first-choice Premier League keeper in his fourth season with the Toffees.
Profiting from the early-season injury of Maarten Stekelenburg in the Merseyside derby, Robles has now kept six clean sheets in 10 league outings.
"I think Joel has been massive for us as well and he's made some very important saves," Williams told the Liverpool Echo.
"As a team, we've been concentrating on knowing that if we keep a clean sheet, more often than not we'll score and we will get the win."
Ronald Koeman's side are currently on an eight-game unbeaten run in the top flight and occupy seventh place in the standings.
