London - West Brom have made an £18million bid for out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to reports.
Schneiderlin has not featured for United since the 1-1 draw against Arsenal on November 19, with Jose Mourinho appearing to still harbour reservations over the French international.
The 27-year-old has been the subject of speculation for several weeks, with the likes of Everton and West Ham both linked with a January move.
But reports in the UK have indicated that West Brom have now made a move to sign Schneiderlin after submitting an £18m bid to United.
Schneiderlin was signed by Mourinho’s successor Louis van Gaal for £24m in the summer of 2014, with the current United boss admitting earlier this week that he felt guilty over a lack of opportunities for certain members of his squad.
"I still have bad feelings towards myself as I didn't give a real chance to everyone," he said.
"There are some positions in our sport where we have over-booking."
Mourinho's United next welcome Sunderland to Old Trafford on Boxing Day where they will be looking to improve on their sixth-placed position on the standings.
Kick off is at 17:00.
