Cape Town - Watford have been linked with a move for Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen as they search for a replacement for veteran Heurelho Gomes.
Ben Foster has excelled between the sticks for Watford this term but number two Gomes is expected to retire when his deal expires in the summer.
Youngster Pontus Dahlberg sits third in the pecking order and is yet to feature for the Hornets in the Premier League.
Reports claim Watford are already putting plans in place to secure a long-term successor to Foster.
Olsen is understood to be at the top of their list after Watford were alerted to the fact that Roma are willing to listen to offers.
The report coming from Italy suggests that a fee of £10 million could be enough to force through a deal for the Sweden international.
