Sky Italy said that Barca offered £45 million plus Colombian defender Yerry Mina and Portuguese defender Andre Gomes in exchange for the French World Cup winner.
With three years left on his contract, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is said to have been in Manchester on Monday to try and force the move.
According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old - who scored in the 4-2 World Cup final win over Croatia - has agreed terms with Barcelona for a deal worth £89.5 over five years.
The reported agreement would see him pick up £346 000 a week, almost double what he earns at United.
Meanwhile, Pogba has returned to training with the Red Devils this week ahead of their Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday night.
Kick-off is at 21:00 (SA time).
