Cape Town - Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reprimanded club captain Jordan Henderson for failing to take his hand after substituting the midfielder against Manchester United.
The 28-year-old was annoyed when the German mentor replaced him with team-mate Xherdin Shaqiri in the 72nd minute at Old Trafford.
The stop-start 90 minutes which saw Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, and Roberto Firmino substituted due to injuries ended in a goalless draw.
After 27 games, Liverpool now top the Premier League log with one point ahead of Manchester City while United are in fifth-place with a point separating them from Arsenal in fourth.
