Cape Town - Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that he urged Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to join him at the Bundesliga champions.
Die Roten have been linked with a move for the Chilean forward, and his international teammate is eager to see the 28-year-old join forces with him at Bayern.
Vidal has won the Bundesliga title with Bayern back-to-back, since he joined the club in 2015, and wants Sanchez to experience a 'big team' as well.
"I said it was an opportunity for him to be on a big team," Vidal told reporters, via Four Four Two.
"If you want to compare with the best, you have to go to the best team in the world."
Sanchez has reportedly been unsettled at Arsenal over the season due to their failure to challenge for the Premier League title. They finished in fifth position and will not compete in the Champions League.
