Vardy: West Ham will be tough at London Stadium

Cape Town - Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy believes the Foxes will need to be at their best to beat West Ham United at the London Stadium on Friday.

The Hammers are yet to win under new manager David Moyes, who took over ahead of the Watford clash which they went on to lose 2-0 and Vardy expects them to put up a big fight in their first home game under the new boss.

"It's going to be a difficult challenge," Vardy told LCFC TV.

"There are no easy games where you're going to pick points up. We know that we've got to be at our best to have a chance at coming away with three points.

"It'll be a hard game, but we know on our day if we're at our best we can beat anyone. We'll make sure that we're ready.

"They've had a difficult start. They've got a lot of quality players there, so for whatever reason, that's the start they've had and they've changed manager.

"Obviously, it's going to be his first home game, so they'll be up for it and the fans will be up for it as well."

Leicester are also under new management. Claude Puel has been in charge for just under a month with mixed results so far, winning one, drawing one, and losing one of his three games.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
