Cape Town - Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is reportedly holding talks with Inter Milan about a potential move to Serie A in the off-season.
United are desperate to offload the Chilean following a troubled time at Old Trafford, which has seen him struggle to produce the kind of performances that made him a big hit at Arsenal.
Sanchez is under contract until June 2022 but United want him off the wage bill and Inter could sense an opportunity to pick him up for a good price.
Reports in the Italian press claim that Sanchez's agent has met with Inter officials in Milan to discuss the possibility of him returning to Serie A, where he once played for Udinese before joining Barcelona.
Sanchez's wages could again be a problem and it remains to be seen whether Inter will be willing to match his demands.
