Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly test the resolve of Torino in the off-season with a lucrative offer for French midfielder Soualiho Meite.
Meite only joined the Italian outfit last summer when they paid French side Monaco £9 million for his services, and it has turned out to be money very well spent.
The 25-year-old has impressed during his 28 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and creating another two in the process, leading to reports that Tottenham are keen.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking bolster his Spurs ranks in the summer with a new midfielder among the players he is hoping to bring to the club, and Meite has emerged as a target.
Torino are reported to want to double the £9 million they paid to Monaco, if they are to sell, and Tottenham should have no problem matching that should they decide to pursue a deal.
