Tipsters: Spurs, Blues to slug out stalemate

Cape Town - A result that will fail to do either of the famous London clubs any special favours.

That is the dominant prediction of the Sport24 English Premiership forecasters, five of whom suggest a share of spoils in the derby tussle between fourth-placed home side Tottenham and Chelsea, one berth above them, on Saturday evening.

If that outcome occurs, both are unlikely to make up meaningful ground – and they could instead lose it - on leaders Manchester City.

The defending champions will have played a little earlier at relatively low-lying West Ham, and there are no takers for anything but a City full house of three points from the duel.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the other prediction gurus are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded to the tipsters for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
