Tipsters: So tight between United, Spurs!

Cape Town - They lie level on points in second spot in the English Premiership ... which probably goes a long way to explaining why the Sport24 forecasters anticipate a nail-biting encounter when Manchester United entertain Tottenham in a glamour fixture on Saturday.

The Red Devils were surprisingly humbled at Huddersfield in the last round, whilst Spurs contrastingly romped to a 4-1 victory over Liverpool.

But the clash is at Old Trafford, and our panel predict either a draw (four instances among them) or a United triumph just by the odd goal (three takers).

Each round of the latest Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results - do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.
