Tipsters: Red Devils stay at 100%

Cape Town - The experts at Sport24 are unanimous that leaders Manchester United will retain their 100 percent record when they visit mid-table Stoke City in the English Premiership on Saturday.

All seven predict a Red Devils win, taking them to 12 points out of 12, despite both of last year’s meetings with the Potters ending in 1-1 stalemates; United generally had less of a cutting edge about them in 2016/17.

In what is probably the match of the weekend appeal-wise, majority sentiment leans toward a draw in the all north-west clash between heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool.

Each round of the latest Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results – do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.
