Tipsters: ‘Pool will shoot down Gunners

Cape Town – They’re proving tougher nuts to crack now than in Arsene Wenger’s closing phase, but Arsenal will fire a blank at home to Liverpool in the big English Premiership clash on Saturday.

That’s the clear majority view of the Sport24 tipsters, although two of the seven fancy a share of the spoils – it would echo last season’s outcome at the Emirates Stadium, when a six-goal thriller was served up just before Christmas.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the other prediction gurus are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).
