Tipsters: ‘Pool to (partially) halt City!

Cape Town – Liverpool’s own sprightly Premiership form of late has clearly convinced the Sport24 experts that they’ll “get something” out of their attractive Anfield tussle with mighty Manchester City on Sunday.

There is a massive belief among the panel that the Reds will share the spoils ... perhaps influenced by their slight dominance over the Sky Blues last season?

Then, Liverpool sneaked it 1-0 on Merseyside and earned a 1-1 outcome at the Etihad Stadium, although City seem an entirely different kettle of fish this time around.

Each round of the 2017/18 Premiership season, our experts have a crack at predicting the results.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result. Try it yourself and see how you shape up ...

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
