English Premiership flutter (File)

Cape Town - The gap between Liverpool and any other title aspirants seems only set to widen over the next couple of English Premiership rounds.

So reckon the Sport24 forecasters, presumably emboldened in their thoughts by the Reds having successive, looming home dates against Wolves and Sheffield United.

Each round of the 2019/20 campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results - do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.
