Tipsters: Man Utd to be 'bedevilled' in derby!

Cape Town – Back to earth with a bump for the Red Devils.

Although fresh off a brilliant away conquest of Juventus in the Champions League, that is the strong sentiment from the Sport24 forecasters about Manchester United – bracing for Sunday’s massive Premiership derby at arch-rivals and defending champions City.

Five of the pundits see the blue half of Manchester smiling afterwards, with only two believing there’ll be a share of the spoils.

Interestingly, things happened in “reverse” last season, United winning at the Etihad Stadium and City prevailing at Old Trafford, so perhaps anything’s possible this weekend.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the other prediction gurus are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded to the tipsters for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
