Tipsters: Liverpool to put ‘hammer’ down!

Cape Town – Premiership leaders Liverpool, held at home by Leicester last time out in a reasonably minor hiccup, will return to winning ways in the latest round at the expense of West Ham.

That is the certainly the expectation of five of the seven Sport24 tipsters for Monday’s meeting in London.

The Reds would be delighted, of course, if they could emulate last season’s result in the corresponding game, when they grilled the Hammers 4-1, helped by a brace from Mo Salah.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the other Premiership prediction gurus are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Have a go yourself: three points are awarded to the forecasters for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.
