Tipsters: Liverpool to forge ahead!

Cape Town - An enormous “double date” for them over the next few days will provide a further, powerful indicator of Liverpool’s Premiership title mettle this season.

The leaders face Arsenal at home on Saturday and then champions Manchester City away on Thursday - a true six-pointer if ever there was one - and the general view of the Sport24 pundits is that they will come through still in solid shape.

Majority view is a victory for the Reds over the Gunners, and then just two of the seven tipsters fancy City to bag all three points in the Etihad Stadium humdinger: a stalemate is a popular call.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the other Premiership prediction gurus are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Have a go yourself: three points are awarded to the forecasters for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.
