Tipsters: Joylessness for Jose again!

Cape Town - Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night seems the most glamorous fixture of the latest English Premiership round … but there are no Sport24 takers at all for a home win.

In a statement that seems to confirm the ongoing, general climate of uncertainty around Jose Mourinho’s charges – fresh off defeat at Brighton – six of our pundits have the Red Devils banking a mere point at Old Trafford, and one more fancies a successful Spurs raid in the north-west.

Each round of the 2018/19 campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results – do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton, and defending champion), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct score-line, and one for right result.
