Tipsters: City to crumple the Baggies!

English Premiership flutter (File)

Cape Town - Runaway Premiership leaders Manchester City have scored an astonishing 70 times in their 24 matches thus far, almost three times per game … and the spree seems set to continue in the latest round of midweek fixtures.

The Sport24 tipsters heavily favour a 3-0 triumph for the Sky Blues when they entertain ailing West Brom on Wednesday – that’s the scoreline pick of six of the seven forecasters, with just one fancying a much tighter scrap (2-1).

All results, however, are considered possible by the panel in the most appealing game of the round on paper, Tottenham hosting Manchester United.

Each round of the 2017/18 Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results – do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.
