English Premiership flutter (File)

Cape Town - Champions against current leaders... what’s not to like about Saturday evening’s English Premiership showdown between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge?

The only snag is that our forecasters are divided over the result, with all outcomes offered, although the majority pick is a share of the spoils.

It was 2-1 to the hosts in last season’s meeting, with Eden Hazard netting both times for the winners.

Each round of the latest Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results - do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Baden Gillion and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.
