Cape Town - Ajax Amsterdam left-back Nicolas Tagliafico says he could seek a new challenge this summer and is flattered by the interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners are understood to be on the lookout for a new left-back heading into the transfer window, despite having Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac on the books currently.
Tagliafico has enjoyed an excellent season with Ajax, catching the eye of Arsenal, along with several other clubs, including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Tottenham.
The Argentine's agent revealed last week that the defender has turned down the chance to sign a new contract with the Netherlands giants and was looking to take the next step in his career come the summer, despite having only been with Ajax since January 2018.
The 26-year-old has now admitted that he would be tempted to make the switch to the Premier League this summer, giving Arsenal hope they could land a new left-back.
"I think in the summer it could be a natural time to take the step," Tagliafico said as reported by The Mirror.
"But I try not to think about taking that step just yet because we have many important games to focus on.
"Yes, it's flattering [the links to English clubs] because I think it's the most competitive league.
"When you are a child, the target is to come to Europe and play in a top league like the Premier League."
