Cape Town -Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin says he is "confident" Andre Ayew will remain at the club, but admits he won't have the final decision on whether or not the forward stays.
The Ghana international joined the Swans on a four-year deal in last season and he was one of their standout players, scoring 12 goals.
However, he has been linked with several clubs, including fellow Premier League outfits Chelsea, Sunderland and West Ham.
Guidolin says it is "important" to keep the 26-year-old at the Liberty Stadium, but says it doesn't come down to him.
"Andre is a good guy and a good player, I hope he stays with us but I don't know," Guidolin said.
He added: "It is important to keep him, but it is not my job. My job is to train and to get the team to play well and to get good results. I am confident he will stay."
