Cape Town - Tottenham youngster Kazaiah Sterling is determined to keep improving after making his senior debut for the club on Friday.
Spurs thrashed Kitchee SC 4-1 in a game that formed part of their post-season trip to Hong Kong, and Sterling was one of the players who got on the score-sheet.
The 18-year-old academy graduate relished the chance to make his debut under manager Mauricio Pochettino and is looking forward to establishing himself next season.
"I'm delighted to play my first game with the first team and to score as well," the striker told his club's official website.
"It was a great experience to play in front of a crowd that big. It was a special moment for me. It's a good landmark for me to try to kick on now.
"I've had a taste and I'm just going to work as hard as I can again next season."
Harry Kane played just 15 minutes but still had time to score as Tottenham cruised to a 4-1 victory over newly-crowned Hong Kong champions Kitchee on Friday.
Son Heung-Min delighted his legions of Asian fans by scoring the opener, Vincent Janssen added the second and Sterling rounded off the scoring at the Hong Kong Football Stadium.
