Spurs hoping to snap up Sissoko

Cape Town - It has been reported that Tottenham are in discussions with Newcastle United over the proposed transfer of France international Moussa Sissoko to White Hart Lane.

According to Sky Sports, the Magpies are willing to accept a fee of 30 million pounds, payable in five installments.

However, it is thought that Spurs are not willing to go that high and may not follow the deal through if the Championship side are unwilling to budge.

The 27-year-old was one of France's best players at Euro 2016, putting in some outstanding performances on the right wing.

Sissoko has been with Newcastle for four seasons after joining from French Ligue 1 side Toulouse. He has missed only eight Premier League games for the North-East outfit over the last three seasons.
