The incident happened early in the North London derby at the Emirates while the Arsenal players were celebrating the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty that first put them ahead.
After the match, Metropolitan Police said they'd made seven arrests for various public order offences, including one for an object thrown onto the field of play.
"Behaviour such as this is completely unacceptable and the supporter in question will be issued with a ban," a spokesman for the club said.
Aubameyang's spot-kick had put the Gunners 1-0 up, before Eric Dier headed home to level the scores, with his raucous celebrations in front of the Arsenal fans causing more drama.
Harry Kane then scored from the penalty spot to put the Spurs 2-1 up, before Aubameyang was on hand again to draw them level early in the second half.
Alexandre Lacazette came on from the bench to put the Gunners ahead again, before Lucas Torreira netted a fourth goal to make sure of the victory.
The result lifted Arsenal above their derby rivals into fourth in the Premier League table, eight points behind leaders Manchester City.
