Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly growing frustrated by Hugo Lloris' inconsistent form and could look to bring in Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Lloris has made a number of high-profile mistakes this season, not least during Wednesday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League, as he first let Pedro's opening goal squeeze between his legs before being involved in a mix up that led to an embarrassing own goal from Kieran Trippier.
The France international is the Spurs captain but that might not be enough to see him remain between the sticks, although he is unlikely to be ousted by either Paulo Gazzaniga or Michel Vorm between now and the end of the season.
However, it looks like Spurs are lining up a long-term replacement for the 32-year-old, with Cameroon international Onana moving to the top of their list.
Onana has established himself as a regular for Ajax over the last three seasons, helping them advance through to the knockout stage of the Champions League this year and, at 22, there is plenty of scope for him to develop.
Spurs are not the only club credited with an interest in Onana, as Arsenal and West Ham are also monitoring his situation, while Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be admirers and may make a move if Jasper Cillessen departs the Nou Camp this summer.
