Cape Town - Midfielder Bruno Fernandes insists he is fully committed to Sporting Lisbon amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United in the off-season.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a superb campaign for Sporting, scoring 32 times in 53 appearances in all competitions.
Fernandes, a Portugal international, also contributed 18 assists this season and his form has caught the eye of United scouts.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bolster his options in midfield this summer but Fernandes claims talks over a deal are wide of the mark.
"I'm with Sporting. There are no contacts with any club, at least as far as I know. There is a lot of talk, there are sure to be clubs interested but to this day, my focus has always been placed on Sporting. Now I want to rest because I have a lot to give to the national team," Fernandes told Record.
"I've spent two intense years, I don't know if I will spend a third year, I don't know if I'm going to leave.
"No one knows the future. I gave my best - blood, sweat and tears for this club - and will continue to do so whenever I wear this jersey."
