Cape Town - Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is loving life at his new club and described it as a family after winning the Player of the Month award for August.
The 25-year-old Egypt international joined the Reds from AS Roma in July and has hit the ground running this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in his first four league games.
"I'm very happy to have this start with the team and to help the team win points and win games," he told the club's official website.
"I'm very happy to be here, it's like my family. I'm happy to be (at) the club with these players."
Jurgen Klopp's men were thrashed 5-0 by Manchester City on Saturday, after Sadio Mane's straight red card in the first half reduced them to 10 men, and Salah is determined to bounce back in their next clash.
Liverpool will face Sevilla at Anfield in their first Champions League group game on Wednesday.
"We have to look forward to the next game, forget that result and play like before," Salah added.
"I'm very, very excited to start the Champions League games at Anfield. I would like to win that game!"
