Cape Town - Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah and Brighton manager Chris Hughton have been named as the Player and Manager of the Month for February.
The 25-year-old Egyptian won the Player of the Month award for the second time this season after scoring four goals and providing two assists in helping Liverpool grab two wins and a draw.
"The players make it easier and the boss also makes it easier for me," Salah said. "It's nice to win it again especially because it's the Player of the Month of the Premier League, so that's something good.
"I say always try to help reach the three points and to be in a better position."
Hughton won the Manager of the Month award for the first time after master-minding two wins and a draw to go undefeated for the month of February with the Seagulls occupying 10th spot in the standings.
"It's a wonderful achievement for the club and certainly for a group of players that have improved as the season has gone on and knowing that we've still got a lot of work to do," Hughton said.
"I have wonderful medical staff and coaching staff.
"We're thankful to a lot of people but, of course, it's the players, the players have enjoyed being in this division so far and are desperate to make sure that we stay there."
Victor Wanyama's screamer against Liverpool in a 2-2 draw on February 4 was awarded as the Goal of the Month beating efforts from the likes of Salah and Sergio Aguero.
"That was one of my best goals I've ever scored," he said. "I just reacted before the Liverpool players.
"I thought I'd just let it go because the ball was bouncing and I didn't want to think too much. And I just let it fly."
