Cape Town - Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly considering his future at Old Trafford after being consistently named on the bench by manager Jose Mourinho.
Lukaku was on the bench last Wednesday during the 2-2 home draw with fierce rivals Arsenal, and he only appeared for the last half-an-hour as he came on for Anthony Martial.
It is not an isolated case either as the 25-year-old has come on as a substitute against Manchester City and Everton, as well as Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League.
The Belgium forward has appeared off the bench in four of his last six outings for the Red Devils. In addition, a return of just five goals in 19 appearances has been a poor return for a man of his proven calibre.
According to the Sun, the player is now weighing up whether to force a move away from United either in the January transfer window or at the end of the current campaign.
It seems the Antwerp-born star could be following in the footsteps of midfielder Paul Pogba, who is also said to enjoy a difficult relationship with Mourinho.
The France international was also on the sidelines for the clash against the Gunners and has been subject to public criticism repeatedly this season by the Portuguese.
