Cape Town - Liverpool owner John Henry has revealed that winning the Premier League will be the Reds' number one priority ahead of the new season.
The Reds were pipped to the post by Manchester City in the battle to win the Premier League last season, but did go on to win their sixth European Cup when beating Tottenham in Madrid.
Liverpool could look to challenge on all fronts again, but Henry has suggested the title, which has eluded them since 1990, will be the number one goal.
"To me winning in Europe is bigger than winning in England but I think it is true the fans want it," Henry said.
"I know we are going to be focused on winning the Premier League next year."
Money is available for new signings, but Henry says getting some of the current players back fully fit is also crucial.
"We need to get healthy," he added. “We need Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back. We need a healthy Lallana.
"It is not up to me but I would guess we will see more of Divock Origi next year.
"I feel really good about next year."
