Cape Town - Harry Redknapp has said that Arsenal winger Theo Walcott needs to up his game or risk losing his place in the England national team.
The 27-year-old has 42 caps for his country and is in the latest squad for upcoming friendlies against Germany and the Netherlands, but Redknapp believes that he has fallen down the pecking order.
"I've always liked Theo as a player but he's at the crossroads now and needs to start producing on a regular basis," Redknapp told the Telegraph.
"He doesn't even get in the Arsenal team nowadays. At Old Trafford the other week I thought he'd murder that United defence but he barely got a kick.
"He's useful as an impact player but players like [Dele] Alli and [Ross] Barkley have flown past him and are threatening to leave him out in the cold."
England face Germany at Olympiastadion Berlin on Saturday before welcoming the Dutch to Wembley next Tuesday.
