Red Devils to find win elusive?

Cape Town - Manchester United probably need the win more ... but the Sport24 soccer pundits largely believe a point is the best they’ll get in their big Sunday home scrap with leaders Chelsea in the Premiership.

The Red Devils have work to do, with time running out, if they are to vitally crank slightly northward on the table to the top four and enter Champions League terrain for next season.

However, a share of the spoils - a repeat of the outcome at Old Trafford in the last campaign - is most popular tip here as boss Jose Mourinho again encounters the team he once powered to such notable success.

Each round of the 2016/17 Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results - do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial; he swears the Championship is more competitive), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Maano Nekhavhambe and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.
