Real want to swap Asensio for Liverpool's Mane

Cape Town - Real Madrid remain in the hunt to sign Liverpool star Sadio Mane and are ready to offer Marco Asensio as part of a swap deal.

Mane has been a revelation for the Reds since arriving at the club, scoring 59 goals in 129 appearances, and Real have been tracking him for some time.

Reports claim that Real are now ready to step up their interest by making a firm bid to lure him away from Anfield this summer, and a swap deal has been mooted.

Real have spent big this summer and it is claimed they will attempt to finance a deal for Mane by offering Asensio, who is no longer in the thoughts of Zinedine Zidane, as part of the package.

Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big admirer of Asensio, but will not be willing to let Mane go to land the midfielder.
