Rashford excited for United's China tour

Cape Town - Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford is looking forward to his first pre-season tour as a professional footballer.

Due to Rashford's meteoric rise, he has never been part of the Red Devils pre-season tours, as he went from playing in the club's development side to an England international at Euro 2016 in the space of three months.

The teenager admits it's all surreal but that he's looking forward to making an impression on new head coach Jose Mourinho, while also admitting the popularity of the Asian population fascinated him when he first toured China as part of a youth tour.

"It means a lot to be going," the 18-year-old told the club's website.

"It's an opportunity to show the manager what you've got and you have to take the opportunity when it comes.

"It would be a massive experience especially with the players that could be going as well. I've got a lot I can learn from them."

"It's crazy to see their support. The conditions can be difficult to play in as we witnessed in the tournament we were in back then but we got through it and it was a really good experience."
