Cape Town - Leicester City head coach Claudio Ranieri has reiterated that winger Riyad Mahrez will remain with the English Premier League champions.
Mahrez's incredible performances for the Foxes last season led them to the Premier League title last season. His 17 goals and 10 assists also saw the Algerian pick up the PFA Players' Player of the Year award and PFA Fans' Player of the Year.
His top-notch performances made a mockery of the €500k transfer fee that was paid when Leicester snapped him up from second-tier French side Le Havre, and he is now said to be a target for Europe's elite.
"I am very confident with him," the Italian told the Leicester Mercury. "He stays.
"He wants to stay here with us. He enjoys it, he is laughing. He is not a man who says, 'Oh coach, I want to go.' No, he is happy."
