Pulisic's potential arrival could see Hudson-Odoi leave Chelsea

Cape Town - Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi could reportedly leave the club for free should the Blues sign transfer target Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

Hudson-Odoi is a highly rated young prospect and big things are predicted for the teenage forward in future. However, after starring for the Premier League giants in pre-season, he has found game-time hard to come by.

In 2018/19 the player has made just two Europa League appearances and is said to be growing frustrated at his lack of playing time.

According to the Sun, Chelsea want him to sign a new deal before loaning him out elsewhere during the January transfer window.

His current contract expires in 18 months but no progress has been made in talks over a new deal.

As such, it appears the potential arrival of Pulisic from Dormund could see him decline any offer and leave for free at the end of his current contract.

The United States of America international is widely regarded as one of the most talented wide players in world football, and the 20-year-old is reportedly interested in moving to Stamford Bridge from BVB ahead of 2019/20.
