Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has broken his silence over rumours that Dele Alli and Kyle Walker are heading towards the exit door.

Walker has been linked with a move to Manchester City, while Alli has emerged as a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Pochettino, who himself has been linked with the vacant Inter Milan job, has insisted that the players that want to remain at the club will be kept.

"All the players that we want to stay here next season will stay," Pochettino said when asked about the two England international's.

"Maybe some of the players we have an offer for and we decide to sell. That is our decision.

"All the players are under contract with the club. It will always be the club's decision to keep or sell the players," he was quoted by FourFourTwo.

"Everyone has a contract. We have the same opinion about all. We will decide at the of the season with different players.

"Maybe some players [will be] gone and some others will arrive. It is natural. Every season and every summer something happens with every club.

"I think it is exciting for the players that are here at Tottenham. It is and the very different project to maybe other clubs at our level in the table," he added.

Debate raged over Alli's future after he said "anything can happen" following Spurs' win over Manchester United on the weekend.

But, Pochettino refused to be drawn on those rumours linking the player with a move away.

"I cannot clarify the rumours," he said. "I did not listen to him, but I think he is committed to the club - I did not hear his interview properly."
