Piazon frustrated over loan moves

Cape Town - Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon admits he is tired of moving to a new team every year and wants to settle down at one club.

The 22-year-old Brazilian joined the Blues from Sao Paulo in 2012, but struggled to break through into the first team despite shining for the reserves, and has subsequently spent the past four seasons out on loan.

The winger played for Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Reading last season, before being shipped out to Fulham this term.

Piazon is one of 38 players the Premier League club have sent out on loan this season, and is fed up with his nomadic lifestyle, saying: "I’m tired of moving abroad. One, two, three loans, maybe that’s enough. It’s time for me to stay somewhere for more than one year.

"It makes no sense to go on loan all the time. It is not good for any player in my experience - or the experience of the other boys.

"I don’t see it as a positive thing any more. To be in a different place every year is not good for me at 22.

"It’s difficult to get a place in the team. They have their own players.

"You do your best, try to get a place in the squad, minutes on the pitch, score and create goals. That’s all you can do."

Piazon has revealed he has hardly even spoken to current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

"We haven’t spoken much and we’ve said nothing about football," he added.
