Cape Town - Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has questioned Nicolas Pepe's attitude after a lacklustre showing on Monday night.
The Ivory Coast international joined from Lille over the summer having scored 22 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
Pepe has since started five of Arsenal's seven Premier League games at the start of the campaign and has one goal and an assist to his name.
His latest chance to impress came in the Gunners' 1-1 draw at Old Trafford when he was substituted with 16 minutes to play.
And Keane, who was a pundit on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, has not been impressed with what he has seen from Pepe.
"Disappointed with him since he's come to the club," Keane told Sky Sports.
"Not great body language... okay, sometimes we make excuses for players a lot, it takes time to settle into a club.
"You see this young kid tonight (Saka), Pepe compared to him for the money they paid, he needs to do a lot more.
"His work rate, his lack of quality, end product, his body language. He didn't seem up for the fight tonight."
