Paul Pogba to Real Madrid 'practically done'

Cape Town - According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, midfielder Paul Pogba's proposed transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid is "practically done".

Pogba, who was named in the PFA top-flight Team of the Year, had a brilliant resurgence after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho, but his form has dipped again in recent weeks.

The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a while but the rumours have ramped up since Zinedine Zidane returned as their manager.

In the last week or so The Sun has claimed that Pogba 'has made it clear' to United that he wants to leave. But he can only go for £120 million if he lodges a transfer request to leave.

And now that potential transfer to the Spanish giants has moved a step closer if Inda - the former head of Spanish newspaper Marca - is to be believed.

"Pogba is practically done," Inda said. "The first to appear will be Eden Hazard and the next will be Pogba.

"He has agreed to lower his Manchester United salary: from £13 million net per year to £10m.

"Adidas is pressing a lot because he is one of the two franchise players of the brand."
